How My Garage works
Where are my saved cars stored?
Only in this browser's local storage. On this device, under the "tcm_garage" key. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else, and there is no account to sign into.
Can I compare a new car against a used one?
Yes. Save any car in new mode, used mode, or both. The comparison table lines them up side by side with the config you saved each with.
What if the same car gets saved twice?
The garage dedupes automatically: a car with the same new/used mode and the same price won't be added twice. Change the price or mode and it counts as a new entry.
Will my garage disappear if I clear my browser data?
Yes, clearing site data or local storage wipes the garage, since that is the only place it lives. It also won't follow you to another device or browser.
